Ties to Third Parties

The Amadeu Antonio Foundation has succeeded since its founding in bringing together people from all walks of life. We have long worked with numerous local organizations, projects and initiatives across Germany; we consider these partnerships to be vital sources of mutual learning. Without these partners to show us the courage to innovate, and without the network of support that these partnerships knit together, the successful work of the Foundation would be impossible.

The Amadeu Antonio Foundation has been supported, advised and funded by the Freudenberg Foundation since its founding. This partnership has been extremely helpful; both organizations can focus on projects and fields in which they have the most expertise.

The Foundation also receives funding and support from the Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend (Ministry of Families, Seniors, Women and Children). The Ministry funds certain strategic projects and works to implement government programs against right-wing extremism together with the AAF.

Another important partner of the Foundation is the magazine stern. stern and the AAF have long cooperated on the Mut gegen rechte Gewalt (“Courage Against Rightist Violence”) campaign, which contributes important earmarked funds to certain initiatives and projects. We work closely with stern to determine which projects receive this funding.
