Examples of Funded Projects

Since its inception, the Amadeu Antonio Foundation has funded more than 300 successful projects and initiatives to counter racism and neo-Nazi violence.

Two outstanding examples are the Center for a Democratic Culture and the project EXIT to support neo-Nazis who want to leave neo-Nazism behind.  The Amadeu Antonio Foundation regularly funds these projects.

Still, the Foundation’s main emphasis is on small-scale, local initiatives.  Both youths and adults participate in a variety of projects, including music workshops, discussions, concerts, film projects, or intercultural festivals.  These people all have one thing in common: they want to make a difference by standing up for democratic values against racism, neo-Nazism and anti-Semitism in order to improve the social environment in their area.  These projects have often been very successful.
