HipHop Ball - eines der vielen Projekte der KMA gegen Rassismus
The Berlin-based Kreuzberg Musical Campaign ("Kreuzberger Musikalische Aktion") organizes multi-media-, theater-, and musical workshops for youths. It mainly visits the rural regions of Brandenburg with its selection of opportunities and acts as an offensive against the neo-Nazi youth culture there.
Its project "Startruck", supported by the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, funds the exchange between Berlin youth from immigrant families and youths from Brandenburg. Songs, performed on a mobile stage, are created in various workshops. With its Startruck, the Kreuzberg Musical Campaign wants to make clear that it does not tolerate extremism, racism, or violence. In this way the Campaign allows youths to identify and develop social and intercultural competences by coming in contact with each other.
