Tahera Ameer<\/strong> is program director of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation. She studied literature, philosophy and Hispanic studies in Tübingen, Barcelona and Berlin. Since 2005 she has been working on anti-Semitism and racism at the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, most recently as department head for both subject areas. In addition, she has worked in science management at the Freie Universität Berlin, as managing director of Lola for Democracy in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. and freelanced in trade union adult education. Tahera Ameer was a volunteer on the board of the Zurückgeben Foundation<\/a>, she was a member of the board of trustees of the Nord-Süd-Brücken Foundation<\/a>, and is active in several organizations for the culture of remembrance, cultural education and migrant feminism. She is also a member of the human rights committee of the German Olympic Sports Confederation<\/a> (DOSB).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

Timo Reinfrank<\/strong> is an Executive Director of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation. He studied political and social sciences in Berlin and Bonn. Timo provides consulting to civil society initiatives, political leaders at both the state and federal levels, as well as administrative bodies in their efforts to combat right-wing extremism and promote a democratic culture. Since 2007, he has served as the chairperson of the Verein für demokratische Kultur in Berlin e.V, and since 2012, he has been a board member of the National Coalition Deutschland – Netzwerk für die Umsetzung der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention. He is also a board member of the Barnim-Uckermark Community Foundation. Since 2015, Timo has been part of the editorial board of the journal Demokratie | Menschenfeindlichkeit.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

Lars Repp<\/strong> is the Administration Director of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation. He studied social sciences and economics in St. Gallen, Seoul and Cambridge. After completing his studies, Lars worked as an advisor to civil society organizations on impact management issues. As a consultant with an international management consultancy firm, he provided strategic advice to companies, public institutions, and non-profit organizations in Germany, the UK, and Denmark, focusing on strategy development, organizational transformation, and crisis management. He is also a certified systemic coach.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n

The foundation council works in cooperation with the board to ensure compliance with donor wishes, to decide on large grant requests and to pursue the strategic development of the foundation.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n<\/div>\n

  • Dr. Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt<\/strong>, Chairperson of the Foundation Council, is a lawyer and former politician. She served as a judge at the Federal Constitutional Court and held leadership positions in the automotive industry for many years.<\/li>\n\t
  • Prof. Dr. Beate Küpper<\/strong>, Deputy Chairperson of the Foundation Council, is a professor of social work in groups and conflict situations at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. She also serves as the deputy director of SO.CON \/ Social Concepts, an institute for research and development in social work, and is a former Mercator Fellow.<\/li>\n\t
  • Dr. Ralf Kleindiek<\/strong> is a lawyer and formerly served as State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Since early 2022, he has been the Chief Digital Officer for the State of Berlin and State Secretary for Digital Affairs and Administrative Modernisation.<\/li>\n\t
  • Stephan J. Kramer<\/strong> ist the President of the Thuringian intelligence agency. Previously, he was the long-serving Secretary General of the Central Council of Jews in Germany.<\/li>\n\t
  • Dr. Sergey Lagodinsky<\/strong> is a lawyer and publicist. He headed the EU\/North America Department of the Heinrich Böll Foundation for many years. Since July 2019, he has been a Member of the European Parliament, serving as Vice-Chair of the Legal Affairs Committee, Chair of the EU-Turkey Delegation, and a substitute member of both the Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Committees.<\/li>\n\t
  • Uta Leichsenring<\/strong> was Director of the Halle outpost of the Bundesbeauftragte für die Unterlagen der Stasi<\/em> (Federal Commissioner for the Records of the National Security Service of the former GDR). She also served as director of the police district in Eberswalde and was responsible for Brandenburg's Concept of Action for Tolerance.<\/li>\n\t
  • Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger<\/strong> is a lawyer and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 2013. During this time, she was appointed Federal Minister of Justice in two cabinets. From 2018 to 2024, she was the first anti-Semitism commissioner for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/li>\n\t
  • Shahrzad Eden Osterer<\/strong> is a journalist and presenter. For many years she is working for Bayerischer Rundfunk and other broadcasters, especially on the topics of Iran, anti-Semitism and women's rights worldwide.<\/li>\n\t
  • Dr. Patrice G. Poutrus<\/strong> is a contemporary historian and migration researcher. He is a project staff member at the Chair of Modern and Contemporary History and Didactics of History at the University of Erfurt and heads the Contemporary Witness Centre. He is currently a visiting professor at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Women's and Gender Studies at the Technical University of Berlin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div>\n\t\n\t\n\t\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n
