The coronavirus worries us all - for people perceived as Asian, there is the fear of racial violence added. Anti-Asian racism is an old phenomenon that rose sharply with the onset of the pandemic. Hostilities, threats and physical attacks reached new levels. In the search for guilty parties, racism are resorted to - with fatal consequences for those affected.

All manner of right-wing extremist and discriminatory incidents can be reported to the Berlin Register with a view to contributing to comprehensive documentation for the various Berlin districts: berliner-register.de.
Korientation e.V. is a (post)migrant self-organisation and a cultural and educational network of Asian Germans and Asians living in Germany. Their goal is to make diverse realities of life in Germany aware and visible and thus counteract racism: korientation.de.
