“Antisemitism as a Cultural Technique” (ASK) is an interactive interview archive and research tool focusing on the cultural dimensions of antisemitism. It explores the cultural function of antisemitic ideologies, their dissemination through old and new narratives, as well as their impact on art and society. ASK also addresses the influence of current conflicts and debates surrounding remembrance culture.
Despite the classification of the AfD as “confirmed right-wing extremist,” vast sums of public funds continue to flow to the party and its operatives. The federal government pays more than 120 million euros every year to a party that questions the rule of law and human rights and attacks democracy – and that’s just for its electoral successes at the federal level. A massive injection of funds for right-wing extremist expansion and the financing of its affiliated networks.
They are young, radical, and willing to use violence – the raid on the far-right group “Last Line of Defense” is not just a wake-up call, but a disturbing example of how hate and incitement can become a source of identity for young people.
