Sukkot is a Jewish festival holiday, happening every Autumn, where Jews all over the world invite friends to gather outdoors in temporary houses, called Sukkot (plural; Sukkah, singular). It’s a tradition to make the Sukkah feel like home. The entire community is welcome to join us as we come together to decorate Hillel’s Sukkah at die gelbe Villa in Kreuzberg. Whether you’re into crafting, hanging decorations, or just enjoying the atmosphere, everyone is welcome.
Leaving the warmth of our homes for more public outdoor spaces, especially in times of rising antisemitism, can take a lot of courage. That’s why we’re inviting friends and allies to join us in sharing the Sukkot experience and to support us in building a beautiful space to enjoy for this important festival holiday!
Let’s make it beautiful, joyful, and full of community spirit as we get ready for Sukkot!
